Code of Conduct

The offense categories below outline what we expect of our players, and what you should expect from other members of the Critical Ops community. Some forms of harassment and inappropriate behavior may not be listed below, this does not mean that there will not be consequences for such behavior.

Your access to the game is something we control and it requires you to follow our Terms of Service. We reserve the right to review each conduct violation on an individual basis and suspend your access to the game at any time for reasons that include, but are not limited to, your failure to abide by the Code of Conduct.

Please review the list of offence categories below, these apply to in-game conduct and player names appropriately

Racial / Ethnic / Religious / Sexual Orientation / National

This category includes both clear and obscure messages in in-game chat, private messages and player names which:

  • Promote racial/ethnic/religious/sexual orientation/national related hatred
  • Are recognized as a racial/ethnic/religious/sexual orientation/national related slur
  • Allude to a symbol of racial/ethnic/religious/sexual orientation/national related hatred
  • Negatively portray major religions or religious figures

This also applies to links to websites or other media containing such language or images.

Account trading / Selling / Sharing / Multiple accounts

This category includes both advertising your account, skins or knives for sale or trade, or advertising that you are looking for an account, skins or knife to purchase through:

  • Linking to a Discord or other social media marketplaces.
  • Advertising you have something for trade and then offering your contact information.

This also applies to account sharing and links to websites or other media containing such language or images.

Furthermore, you are only allowed to create one account per device, as stated in our terms of service.

Obscene / Vulgar / Inappropriate language

This category includes both clear and obscure messages in in-game chat, private messages and player names which:

  • Are an inappropriate reference to human anatomy or bodily functions
  • Are pornographic in nature
  • Are otherwise considered objectionable
  • Bypass the Offensive Language filter

This also applies to links to websites containing such language or images.

Illegal Drugs or Activities

This category includes both clear and obscure language in in-game chat, private messages and player names which:

  • Reference to abusing illegal drugs
  • Reference to performing illegal activities

This also applies to links to websites containing such language or images.

Spamming, Trolling or Advertising

This category includes:

  • Excessively communicating the same phrase, similar phrases, or pure gibberish
  • Causing disturbances, such as picking fights and insulting other players
  • The advertisement of any non-beneficial, non-Critical Ops related businesses, organizations, or websites

Cheats, Hacks, Trojan Horses or Malicious Programs

This category includes:

  • Posting links to cheats, hacks, malicious viruses / programs or unofficial download locations for the game.
  • Using hacks, cheats or unofficial versions of the game.
  • Using an emulator or other virtualization software to run the app

Leaking privileged or confidential information or impersonating a Critical Force employee

This category includes:

  • Leaking confidential information obtained in selected testing or preview programs.
  • Impersonating a Critical Force employee to gain an advantage or distribute false information

Harassment beyond the game world and Real-Life Threats

This category includes both clear and masked language and/or links to websites containing such language or images which:

  • Refer to violence in any capacity that is not directly related to the game world.
  • Releasing any real-life information about other players or Critical Force employees.
  • Harassment of other players outside of the game.

Unsportsmanlike in-game conduct

This category includes:

  • Revealing the location of your teammates to the opposing team through in-game chat.
  • Not participating in gameplay or purposefully engaging in actions which are detrimental for your team. This includes purposefully ‘feeding’ kills to the enemy team or performing actions which may cause your team to lose the round

IF A PLAYER IS FOUND TO HAVE PARTICIPATED IN ANY OF THE ABOVE ACTIONS THEY WILL EITHER:

  • Be given a warning
  • Be temporarily banned from the game.
  • Be given a final warning, after which any further Code of Conduct violations may result in a permanent ban from the game.
  • Be permanently banned from the game.

IMPORTANT

Repeatedly violating any area of the Code of Conduct or Terms of Service, or taking part in behavior which is opposed to principles described in either document, will often result in permanent banishment from the game.

This policy is not language-restrictive. Language that falls under this policy will always be subject to the repercussions listed, whether it is inappropriate in English or any other language.
