Winterfest Returns to Critical Ops!
Winterfest is back with a new game mode, winter offers & a community challenge where every kill counts! From December 18 to January 14, jump into Arctic Brawl, a special Winterfest game mode where players choose their side and determine which short-range weapon comes out on top.
NEW GAME MODE: ARCTIC BRAWL
Arctic Brawl is a fast-paced FFA Deathmatch variant built around close-quarters combat on the Arctic map. This is where SMGs and Shotguns settle their rivalry once and for all.
- Free-for-all: 6 individual players.
- 100 HP, 100 Armor.
- Unlimited respawns.
- Equipment: Any SMG or Shotgun of choice.
- Map: Arctic.
- Randomized spawn points.
- Duration: 5 minutes.
- Win condition: Have the most kills by the match end.
COMMUNITY CHALLENGE & REWARDS
Winterfest rewards participation, performance, and challenges the community to work together. Jump into Arctic Brawl, rack up kills, and earn cases based on your contribution.
Pick your weapon, pick your side:
- Team Shotgun - Earn kills with any Shotgun
- Team SMG - Earn kills with any Submachine gun
Every kill you earn contributes to your team’s total. Want to switch sides? Simply start using the other weapon class, and your allegiance follows your playstyle. At the end of the event, the total kills of all players who contributed towards the event are compared, and players are assigned to the team they contributed to most.

Whether your team wins or loses, hitting the 100-kill milestone guarantees you at least two cases. Win and grind? You’ll walk away with the full 3.
