CRITICAL OPS ANTI-CHEAT REPORT
Hello Operatives!
Cheaters suck. There’s no worse feeling than losing to a hacker or constantly doubting whether someone is cheating, especially in a competitive game like Critical Ops. It’s frustrating, and it hurts the integrity of everything you’ve worked for.
We’ve always taken this seriously. We’re constantly updating our anti-cheat systems to detect the use of illegal software, but sometimes cheaters slip through and ruin the experience for so many of you. The introduction of Ranked Rating Adjustment was a big milestone in our fight against cheating, and going forward, we want to be more open about the work happening behind the scenes.
So, what’s actually been done? In 2025, we permanently banned 27,742 accounts for breaking the Terms of Use in Critical Ops, 562 for ghosting, and 5,158 for partying with hackers. So far in 2026, 10,172 accounts have been permanently banned for breaking the Terms of Use, 127 for ghosting, and 574 for partying with hackers.
| TIME PERIOD | BREAKING TERMS OF USE | GHOSTING | PARTYING WITH HACKERS |
|---|---|---|---|
| Year 2025 | 27,742 player banned permanently | 562 players banned | 5,158 players banned |
| Year 2026 (ongoing) | 10,172 player banned permanently | 127 players banned | 574 players banned |
Every report matters. Please report suspected cheating through the in-game report feature. Your reports go directly to our team and help us move faster. If you need further help, reach out to us through in-game support. We’re committing to sharing these reports more regularly. The fight against cheating is ongoing, and you deserve to see the work — not just when we feel like we have something to announce, but consistently.
Thanks for keeping the game honest. We’ll do our best to keep the game as fair as possible.
