DAMAGE RULES

  • Damage dealt to the player is rounded down to nearest full number.
  • Damage dealt to armor is rounded up to nearest full number.
  • When a shot penetrates one player and hits another player:
    • Body parts protected by armor are considered objects with “MEDIUM” strength.
    • Body parts not protected by armor are considered objects with “WEAK” strength.
  • If a single shot goes through multiple objects, or players, the reductions are added up, before being applied.
  • Example:
    • URATIO shot passes through 2 characters and hits a third character.
    • The shot hits the torso of all 3 characters, and everyone is wearing kevlar that day. This means all shots are considered to have penetrated a “MEDIUM” strength object.
    • 100% of the damage becomes 65% after passing through the first player’s torso (-35%), then becomes 30% after passing through the second player’s torso (-35%).
    • Since URATIO does not have any damage drop-off, it has flat 225 damage.
    • 225 * 1.0 (URATIO’s torso damage multiplier) * 30% = 67.5, rounded down to 67.
    • Third character gets dealt 67 damage. Since they are also wearing kevlar, some of it is absorbed by armor.
    • 67 * 90% = 60.3, rounded down to 60. This is damage the third character takes.
    • 67 - 60 = 7. This is the damage the third character’s kevlar takes.
