  • No double round objective bonuses: team objective takes priority over enemy team elimination.
    • If Coalition defuses the bomb, they will only be rewarded for bomb defusal, not enemy team elimination.
    • If The Breach plants the bomb, they will only be rewarded for bomb planting, not enemy team elimination.
  • The player who completes the team objective gets more money.
    • Coalition player that defuses the bomb gets both the team and individual bomb defuse rewards.
    • The Breach player that plants the bomb gets both the team and individual bomb plant rewards.
  • Certain weapons reward more money per kill.

  • Loss bonus system awards progressively more money to the losing team with each round lost.
    • It is awarded to all losing Coalition players.
    • It is only awarded to losing The Breach players who are dead when the round changes.
  • Pistol round loss bonus is awarded after losing the side starting round, on match start, and after side swap.
    • Pistol loss bonus does not interfere with the normal loss bonus counter, so losing the pistol round will still increase the loss bonus counter by 1.
  • Loss bonus counter is increased by 1 after losing a round, and stops at 4.
    • Continuing to lose rounds after reaching the 4th loss bonus will award the 4th loss bonus value.
  • Loss bonus counter is reduced by 1 after winning a round, and stops at 1.
  • Loss bonus counter changes are performed after all players are awarded their money.
    • For example: Reaching 4th loss bonus, then winning a round, then losing one again will award the 3rd loss bonus value.
    • Explanation: Loss bonus counter is at 4 -> team wins, gets their money awards, loss bonus counter is reduced to 3 -> team loses, gets their 3rd loss bonus money, loss bonus counter is increased to 4.

ADDITIONAL DEFUSE RULES

  • On respawn after death, match start, or side swap, players receive:
    • Faction starting pistol.
    • Equipped melee weapon.
    • Helmet and Kevlar (excluding Ranked Defuse and Tournament Mode).
  • Upon dying, players drop all carried weapons and utility (except for knives).
    • These items can be picked up by both teammates and enemies.
    • Armor does not drop. Armor is always personal. Armor can break.
    • Items that haven’t been picked up disappear when the round ends.
